Age Requirement

All renters and additional drivers must be at least 25 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.

Insurance Requirements

If you carry full coverage auto insurance, you may use your personal policy to cover the rental vehicle. Most insurance providers extend coverage from your personal vehicle to a rental vehicle, regardless of the year or model. We verify insurance coverage for all renters prior to confirming any reservation. If you do not have transferable coverage, Pathway Car Rentals offers rental insurance options at the time of booking. In the event of damage or loss regardless of fault you may be held financially responsible for:

• The full fair market value of the vehicle (or its salvage value if applicable)

• Towing, storage, and impound fees

• An administrative fee

• Reasonable charges for loss of use

In cases of theft, liability may extend up to the fair market value of the vehicle if the renter or any authorized driver fails to exercise reasonable care or is found to have contributed to the theft.

Driver’s License Requirements

Renters and any additional authorized drivers must present a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence. The license must be valid for the entire duration of the rental period.

We accept the following forms of payment: Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and Zelle

Rental Duration & Billing

Rentals are billed in 24-hour periods.
Example: A 2-day rental beginning Saturday at 9:00 AM must be returned by Monday at 9:00 AM.

• A 1-hour grace period is allowed.

• After the grace period, a $50 per hour late fee will apply.

Security Deposit & Refunds

All rentals require a security deposit, which is refunded within 1–4 business days after vehicle return and inspection.

To receive your full deposit:

• The vehicle must be returned on time,

  To the correct location,

• In clean, undamaged, smoke-free condition,

• And all rental terms must be followed.

Deposit will be forfeited if:

• The vehicle is impounded by law enforcement,

• An unauthorized driver operates the vehicle,

• Or if there is evidence of smoking inside the car.

Additional Drivers

Additional authorized drivers must:

• Be present at the time of rental,

• Meet all standard rental requirements (age, valid license),

• And sign the rental agreement.

Fee: $15 per day, per additional authorized driver.

No Smoking Policy

All Pathway vehicles are strictly non-smoking.
Any evidence of smoking (including tobacco, cannabis, or vape) will result in loss of the entire rental deposit.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled rental time.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior are subject to a charge equal to one day's rental fee, including taxes and applicable fees.
